THE FIRST SET
In the year of 1951, Viet Nam issued 13 stamps in one set, that called The First Set of Vietnam Stamps, but has 6 different designs: 2 for Emperor Bao Dai and 4 the Viet Nam capital cities
- Bongour Falls, Dalat with 3 demonations.
Scott # 1, 5, 10
- Imperial Palace, Hue with 3 demonations.
Scott # 2, 8, 11- Hoan Kiem Lake, Ha Noi with 2 demonations.
Scott # 3, 12- Souvenir Temple, Sai Gon with 2 demonations
Scott # 4, 6- Emperor Bao Dai type "a" with 2 demonations
Scott # 7, 13- Emperor Bao Dai type "b" with 1 demonation
Scott # 9This set also had one souvernir booklet exist comprising five gummmed sheets measuring 121 x 97 mm, containing a single copy each of # 1, 2, 6, 9, and 12 together with commemorative inscriptions. They have 2 types for this bookelt.
Type A: these sheets have gum
Type B : No Gum
