South Viet Nam
In the year of 1955, Viet Nam issued 10 stamps
in two sets, with 2 different designs:
- Mythological Turtle with 3 demonations.
- 1st Anniversary Of The Flight Of The North Viet Nam with 6
diffrerent demonations.
This set also named "Refugees Set".The design was the
picture of refugees fleeing on a raft, from Communist dominated North Viet Nam, escaped to
South Viet Nam.
This set is one of the most value and scarest of Viet Nam stamp
One stamp of this set (#34) was overprinted with black bar over inscription below design
(Scott # 54) in 1956.
